About Us

James started construction in the Summer of 1975 in Texas framing apartments. He started his own construction company in 1986, and moved to Colorado in 1992. James has been a licensed General Contractor with experience building hundreds of homes, duplexes, and additions for over 40 years. He served as President and VP of NARI (National Association Remodeling Industry) for 4 years, and has won numerous construction awards. James is an avid Colorado Mammoth fan, he enjoys flying planes and golfing with his oldest grandson in his free time.

Dianna is from Texas, and attended University of Houston. She has been married to James for 39 years. Her interests include interior decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family including her 2 grandsons.

Brittany achieved a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Denver. After a career in the beer industry, in both hospitality and various labs, she decided she wanted to join the family business. While she has grown up with Kinsman Construction Inc., she has since honed her skills and knowledge within construction and and is now a licensed General Contractor. She has used her organizational and technical expertise to help in each step of the job process, from bidding jobs to helping clients make selections and managing state of art project management software. When Brittany is not at work she enjoys time with her husband and two sons, traveling and exploring new recipes.

Linda moved from the Midwest, and joined our team in 2004. She has helped James & Dianna build and grow KCI into what it is today. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family and being outdoors.

Tommy grew up in Golden Colorado and went to college in Durango and Metro. He loves spending time with his family, golfing and going to the mountains. Although his construction career is fresh he is young and eager to learn. Tommy treats each project as if it's his own and has a keen eyesight for detail.

Chris has lived in Colorado since 1990, and loves everything Colorado has to offer. He has 29 years of experience in new construction and renovating. His goal is to provide a stress free building experience with a great attitude to deliver amazing results.

Alyssa is a Colorado Native, and worked for a semi custom home builder in Southern Colorado. She moved to Denver and continued in the construction industry working for a home remodeling company. Her heart was with home building, so she made the switch and joined our team. She loves finding new restaurants to try, and spending time with her family on the weekends.
